Photography started as something I did for fun with friends and family about five years ago, but I fell in love with capturing real moments and turned it into Gabby Burns Photography in 2021! I’m based in Rochester, NY, and always up for traveling beyond!

I married my best friend, Alex, in the fall of 2023, and we now have our sweet one year old daughter, Josie, who’s brought more love and laughter into our lives than we ever imagined. We also have a mini dachshund, Obi — named after Star Wars and full of personality!
Since becoming a mom, my heart for capturing motherhood has only grown deeper. I love documenting the real, raw, and beautiful parts of this season — from baby bumps to newborn snuggles and everything in between!
And for my couples and families — you’re just as close to my heart. My approach is less about perfect poses and more about guiding you through moments that feel genuine and full of emotion. The laughter, the quiet, the chaos — that’s where the magic lives :)
